Self-Service Password Management
Summary
Instructions for managing your WMed password and security questionsWMed has a self-service password management system that you can use to manage and reset your own password from any browser.
Managing your account
Visit https://sspr.wmed.edu and log in with your current password. The following options are displayed:
- Change Password - Select this option to change your password immediately.
- Setup Security questions - You will be prompted to set security questions the first time you log in. If you have set them previously, select this option from the list to view and modify your questions. The answers to these are case-sensitive.
- My Account - Displays various attributes about your account, including the expiration date for your current password.
- Helpdesk -Unused at this time.
- Logout - Exit the system.
Please contact the helpdesk by phone at 269-337-4409 (menu option 2) if you run in to any issues with the self-service site. Note that we are unable to reset passwords through email or tickets.
Reset expired password
- Visit https://sspr.wmed.edu and click "Forgotten password" link at the bottom.
- Enter your last name and username when prompted.
- Answer your security questions.
- Provide a new password that meets the given criteria.
