Please log into the WMed Portal and select "Browse Shared Documents." That will take you to the "WMed Browse" location on the company SharePoint site.

It has instructions for: forwarding, voicemail, workgroups, faxing, call queues, and quick reference. So just search for those keywords or even phone.

Below you will find tips, tricks, and FAQs for the new phone system.

Default voicemail password

  • The default password is 1234 - If you have changed it and are unable to remember, the support team can reset it for you.

Voicemail greetings


Overhead paging at Oakland Drive Campus

  • Pickup a phone and dial extension 7777
  • Wait for the tone and begin speaking
  • Hang up handset
  • You currently can speak for up to 60 seconds

Overhead paging at Innovation Center Campus

  • Pickup a phone and dial extension 7776
  • Wait for the tone and begin speaking
  • Hang up handset
  • You currently can speak for up to 60 seconds

Phone assignment status

  • With the new system, phone numbers are generally assigned to users instead of phones. While unassigned, indicated by the word "Available" in the upper left corner, phones can only call internal 4 digit extensions and can not receive calls. You may assign the phone to yourself or contact the support staff for direction if it is a multi-user phone.


Adjusting Phone Display Contrast

  1. With the phone on hook, press and hold the mute button. (The LEDs should NOT light and you shouldn't hear any tones; if this isn't the case, lift and replace the handset and try again.)
  2. While holding the mute button, press the up or down key on the navigation pad repeatedly to increase or decrease display contrast.


This information will be updated as new questions are asked or common issues are noticed.

Adjusting Display Contrast

The LED should not light and you shouldn't hear any tones; if this isn't the case, lift and replace the handset.

2. Press the up or down key on the navigation pad to increase or decrease contrast.

Initial Setup
1. Call 4444
2. When prompted, enter the default password of 1234 followed by #
3. Follow the prompts to change your password
4. When prompted, record your full name
5. If you would like to setup a custom greeting press 7, then 1


Change Greetings

2. When prompted, enter your password followed by #
3. To set or change a custom greeting press 7, then 1
4. To rerecord your name press 7, then 6
